For the "Birder" grand opportunities exist for Lake Greeson Bird Watching viewing migratory waterfowl in season as well as winter inhabitants such as the Bald Eagle. The Neo-tropical migratory birds are plentiful in the spring through the fall. Many sports and activities await the visitor. Boating, swimming, water sports, scuba diving, camping, fishing, and sightseeing are just a few of the recreational opportunities available.

Riding Groups and Events

Kirby Landing Motel is located right a long side the Bear Creek Cycle Trail. We are VERY rider friendly. Guests can load and unload their 4-wheelers, motorcycles and other ATV’s in our parking lot and simply cross the road to enter the trail, making The Kirby Landing Motel a great place for Riding Groups and Events.

Water Sports

Lake Greeson has plenty of water sports for you to enjoy. Come and see for yourself.

Camping

The Kirby Landing Recreation Area and several other USACE Recreation Areas around Lake Greeson provide many opportunities for your camping fun. The Ouachita National Forest, particularly the Albert Pike, Bard Springs and Shady Lake Recreation Areas are within an easy drive of Lake Greeson and also offer a variety of camping experiences.
